COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Allow Tri Tip to come to room temperature before cooking.

  2. Preheat oven to 325°F.

  3. Place Tri Tip on a baking sheet, put on center rack, and cook for 20 minutes.

  4. Flip Tri Tip over and cook for an additional 15-30 minutes, depending on size, checking internal temperature of the roast at the thickest point.

  5. Rest for 10 minutes minimum; 20 minutes for best results.

Conventional Oven / smoker

  1. Preheat to 250°F.

  2. Cook for 45-60 mins (depending on size), until internal temperature at the center of the roast reaches desired doneness.

  3. Rest for 10 minutes minimum; 20 minutes for best results.
