COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Allow Tri Tip to come to room temperature before cooking.
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Place Tri Tip on a baking sheet, put on center rack, and cook for 20 minutes.
Flip Tri Tip over and cook for an additional 15-30 minutes, depending on size, checking internal temperature of the roast at the thickest point.
Rest for 10 minutes minimum; 20 minutes for best results.
Conventional Oven / smoker
Preheat to 250°F.
Cook for 45-60 mins (depending on size), until internal temperature at the center of the roast reaches desired doneness.

*Consuming raw or undercooked meats may increase your risk of food borne illness, especially if you have certain medical conditions. In order to ensure food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 145°F and allow to rest for 4 minutes.
